Every Santa shop needs a table where a child with two dollars can buy for two people. Closeouts are how you fill it.
What belongs on the dollar table
- Named gifts. Pens, magnets and key chains that say Mom, Dad, Grandma or Grandpa. Children choose these first because the gift says who it is for.
- Small toys. Bouncy balls, putty and novelty items for brothers, sisters and friends. See gifts for boys and girls.
- Jewelry. Rings and bracelets at low prices sell steadily. See jewelry gifts.
How much to order
The dollar table empties fastest. Order more units of fewer different gifts, so you can refill the same spot all week instead of leaving gaps. Keep the extra stock in boxes under the table.
Keep it full for the last class
Hold back part of each low-priced gift for the final day. The last class deserves the same choice as the first.
